well, over the weekend I spent all of it basically doing my assignment for entrepreneurship. Its on The Wiggles, part of a group assignment, where each person is concentrating on a single entrepreneur. ANyhow, we decided last Tuesday to meet up the following week (27/5/2003) and have it all completed so we could combine them all and then work on our presentation.
BUT NO!!! Not one friggin’ person had completed all the work, bar me. Which really pissed me off. You see, I worked all weekend on my work and I even managed to prepare a powerpoint presentation and a picture portfolio.
Some of the group members had almost finished - but was not complete so we couldn’t combine them. A few of us worked on the introduction and got that all worked out - which is good.
But it still comes back to the crappyness of teamwork, when people don’t do the required set tasks. It really shits me.
There is one girl in the group who fucking doesn’t do a thing essentially. I mean one week she didn’t provide anything towards a group work assignment except 8 lines of work. didn’t show for the performance. and then a few weeks ago, we asked her to do an introduction to our “who wants to be a millionaire” sketch, I specifically said not to mention that it was based on “who wants to be a millionaire” cause it would ruin the surprise factor of when I ran into the room being Eddie McGuire. What did she do? She said and I quote, “Our presentation is based on a game show of “who wants to be a millionaire”. fuckn hell. And then all she had to do was cough on the right answer when it was said out loud. That’s all she had to do in the whole sketch. I heard no coughing. Shit me. AND today, she left her work at home in Devonport. Yeah good one.
Anyways, if any of you are reading this - too bad. At least you know how I feel. Maybe you’ll lift ya game next time ya do group work. Mind you it is only 2 people in the 5 person group that shit me. The other 2 are really good. Very helpful, great ideas. anyways, talk to ya later.
