From The Eye

THE annual Who Weekly 25 Most Beautiful People edition has thrown up the usual mix of Hollywood’s best and brightest and local gorgeous folk.
But one name that stood out from the glamour pack was Dr Harry Cooper.
The TV vet was picked for his kind heart and unflappable spirit.
“We chose Dr Harry because we wanted to recognise that teaching kids (and adults) to be kind to animals is a fine starting point to making the world a better place,” said Who executive editor Helen Martin.
“And you don’t have to be under 35 to be beautiful.”
Dr Harry told The Eye the news came as a real shock.
“I’m anything but beautiful – but dogs seem to like me,” he said.
“I think it’s very flattering, particularly when you get to be an old fellow like me.
“My wife and daughter were delighted – and not much impresses a 16-year-old.”
Other Aussies to make the cut include Ned Kelly star Naomi Watts, pop starlet and actor Delta Goodrem, Professional SoS (Sister of Star) Antonia Kidman, fashionista Michelle Jank and actor Claudia Karvan.
Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns, Beneath Clouds director Ivan Sen, perfumed steamroller Jana Wendt and Formula One driver Mark Webber also made the list.
Home and Away star Rebecca Cartwright, actress Rose Byrne were also among the Aussie mentions.
On the international front jazz singer Norah Jones, Oscar winner Adrien Brody, Goldie’s daughter Kate Hudson and Chicago sensation Queen Latifah were among the beautiful.
