LIVE coverage of Australia’s World Cup campaign could be derailed if war breaks out.
Channel 9 has the exclusive rights to the World Cup, but, like the other networks, would likely provide a blanket coverage of the war.

Singer hits dire straits

FORMER Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler was rushed to hospital yesterday after a motorbike accident.
The 53-year-old singer and guitarist was taken by ambulance to St Thomas Hospital, central London, where he was treated for a broken collar bone and six broken ribs.
