AUSTRALIA’S first purpose-built beer school will open tomorrow.
Draught Beer Fundamentals will be taught at the Carlton Draught Beer Academy at Adelaide’s Regency Institute of TAFE as part of a certificate in hospitality.
“Anyone can pour a beer but doing it properly and caring for the draught beer really does take quite a lot of skill,” a spokesman for Carlton and United Breweries said yesterday.
There are plans to devel op similar academies in Melbourne and Sydney.
